之前禮拜二老師上課時，提到了好幾次的 Maria 這首歌，讓我想起了高一唱三團很棒的回憶XD
它是來自於經典的音樂劇 West Side Story西城故事 (音樂：伯恩斯坦Leonard Bernstein / 詞：史蒂芬桑坦Stephen Sondheim)差不多四、五年前有來過台灣巡演，大家應該都聽過的 Tonight! Tonight!就是出自本劇兩個敵對陣營要火拼前夕
   
這部的劇本是脫胎自莎士比亞著名的羅密歐與茱麗葉，而故事發生在紐約城西，白人混混老大的摯友Tony，和波多黎哥移民幫派頭頭的妹妹Maria之間。在舞會中Tony和Maria一見鍾情，Tony離開舞會會場時喃喃唸著Maria的名字，唱出了這一首經典的歌曲。非常簡單，但又非常的熱烈。(歌詞中譯是有點畫蛇添足了，大家還是咀嚼原文吧XD)
