他說過去的愛已經不再值得嘗試，過去的夢想只是一座空中的城堡，他曾經追求嚮往，但城堡的牆已讓他絕望。所以歌者要到群山蒼翠的地方，遠離城市的紛紛擾擾，娶一位鄉村的女子過他所愛的country life。副歌唱著：safe- me from all the trouble and the pain，拯救我，從一切的掙扎和痛苦之中...是因為追逐的夢想僅是海市蜃樓嗎？還是他們終究是走不下去？他無法面對她，跟她道別，所以他請朋友跟她解釋:"或許她可以理解...如果你平靜的跟她說"
平靜的跟她說。但，文字又怎能描繪被晨曦的籠罩的感受呢。(到這裡似乎是可以確定他們應該是追逐夢想的伙伴?) 他說他愛鄉村生活，因為他不屬於雞尾酒世代(真想知道當時的社會背景)，音樂play，所以人們雙雙對對起舞，不帶一絲浪漫...或是這是在暗喻他們的戀情嗎
